The following limitation exists between the commercial version of VMware Aria Automation and VMware Aria Automation in VMware Aria Suite Cloud for US Public Sector.

SDDC NSX FQDN does not resolve

When creating a VMware Cloud on AWS cloud account in VMware Aria Automation on VMware Aria Suite Cloud for US Public Sector, the NSX FQDN of the SDDC does not resolve. The system requests SDDC information by using a NSX FQDN default value. However, to properly create the cloud account, you must specify the IP address of the NSX.

Workaround: To obtain and enter the correct FQDN value when creating the cloud account, use the following procedure:
  1. Open the VMware Aria Suite Cloud for US Public Sector SDDC.
  2. Find the IP Address of the NSX that is associated to that VMware Aria Suite Cloud for US Public Sector SDDC.
  3. On the VMware Cloud on AWS cloud account creation page, replace the default FQDN value with this IP address value.
