The Migration Service in VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle provides a way for VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle users to migrate contents of VMware Aria Suite SaaS products to on-prem VMware Aria Suite product deployments.
The Migration Service is available from the My Services page and is provided with VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.16 Patch 1 or later.
Prerequisites
Before migrating content, a
VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle administrator must:
- Generate a Cloud Services API Refresh token. See Generating a Cloud Services Platform API Token for Cloud Automation Services.
- Add a SaaS content endpoint.

For the on-prem endpoint, the administrator must have:
- Selected TEST CONNECTION on the endpoint details
- Selected Mark as Production Content Endpoint on the endpoint policy settings.
