Web Server Configuration

The App Control Server works with the following configurations:

• IIS 8.0 on Windows Server 2012 R2
• IIS 10 on Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022

Do a clean IIS installation before you install the App Control Server. In normal use, the web server starts at boot time. The App Control Server does not support substitution or co-installation of any other web servers.

Configure the IIS Roles Manager according to the instructions in the Operating Environment Requirements for this release.

Note: Once IIS is installed, you cannot change the server name and still have IIS function correctly. If you need to change the server name for any reason, contact Carbon Black Support.
