Manually Assign Assets to Asset Groups

To manually assign assets to asset groups, perform the following procedure.

Prerequisites

• Rank Policies if this is a policy use case.
• Create Asset Groups

Procedure

1. On the left navigation pane, click Inventory > Endpoints.
2. Select the endpoints to add to the asset groups.
   Tip: Use the filter options in the left pane to find endpoints. For example, you can filter on OS Version, Sensor Version, and other criteria.
3. On the Take Action menu, click Add to asset groups.
4. Use the dropdown menu to select asset groups to which to add the endpoints.

   

5. Click Preview Impact.
   
6. After reviewing the effective policy impact, click Back.
7. Click Add.
