To add users to assign the Admin or Analyst role, perform the following procedure.

Note: User management requires the System Administrator role.

Procedure

  1. Log in to your ServiceNow instance.
  2. Go to Organization > Users and click the Users module.
  3. Click the New button to open a New User form.
  4. Fill in the form:
    • User ID - Unique User ID for the role in the current ServiceNow Platform instance
    • First Name - First name of the user being created
    • Last Name - Last name of the user being created
    • Title - Job Title. Example: Security User
    • Password - Unique password created for this user
    • Email - Unique email address
  5. Click Submit.
