Two application-specific roles must be configured in ServiceNow: one with the privileges to administer the apps, and one for analysts. After the roles are configured, grant them to users.

The built-in ServiceNow System Administrator role grants the following permissions to users who have that role:

  • Install the integration application plugins
  • Configure Data Collection using the Data Forwarder with AWS S3 Bucket
  • Read, write and delete any record
  • Create Users
  • Can execute all SOAR actions
  • View Application Logs
  • Access Support Contact
  • Uninstall the Application
