After you deploy Carbon Black Cloud Workload appliance, the IP address of the appliance is a private IP accessible only from inside the SDDC network. To make the IP address securely accessible, you must generate publicly accessible IP address for the appliance and map the public IP address with the private IP address of the appliance using Network Address Translation (NAT).
- Log in to the VMC Console.
- On the Networking & Security tab, click Public IPs.
- Generate publicly accessible IP address for the appliance. To request or release a public IP address, see VMware Cloud on AWS Networking and Security documentation.
- Create a NAT rule to map the new public IP with the private IP of the appliance.
