View the Provider Gateway Firewall Logs in the VMware Cloud Director Service Provider Admin Portal

When you configure a provider gateway firewall rule, you can verify that the firewall rule runs correctly or monitor if anyone is trying to breach the firewall by examining the firewall logs.

Prerequisites

• Configure a Log Provider in VMware Cloud Director
• Configure Firewall Rules on a Provider Gateway in the VMware Cloud Director Service Provider Admin Portal

Procedure

1. From the primary left navigation panel, select Resources, and from the page top navigation bar, select Cloud Resources.
2. From the secondary left panel, select Provider Gateways.
3. Click the provider gateway.
4. On the page-level left navigation, under Services, select Firewall.
5. On the Firewall page, select the Logs tab.
6. If you want to refresh the logs information, click Refresh.

Export the logs in CSV format.
