View the Edge Gateway Firewall Logs in the VMware Cloud Director Service Provider Admin Portal

When you configure an edge gateway firewall rule, you can verify that the firewall rule runs correctly or monitor if anyone is trying to breach the firewall by examining the firewall logs.

Prerequisites

• Configure a Log Provider in VMware Cloud Director
• Add an NSX Edge Gateway Firewall Rule in the VMware Cloud Director Service Provider Admin Portal

Procedure

1. From the primary left navigation panel, select Resources, and from the page top navigation bar, select Cloud Resources.
2. From the secondary left panel, select Edge Gateways.
3. Click the edge gateway.
4. On the page-level left navigation, under Services, select Firewall.
5. On the Firewall page, select the Logs tab.
6. If you want to refresh the logs information, click Refresh.
