Before the upgrade of the Workspace ONE Access cluster, you must trigger an inventory synchronization from vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager. After that, you must identify the secondary Workspace ONE Access cluster nodes, so that you can deactivate these nodes in the NSX load balancer pool before the upgrade.

Procedure

  1. Log in to vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager at https://<vrealize_suite_lifecycle_manager_fqdn>/vrslcm as vcfadmin@local.
  2. On the My Service page, click Lifecycle Operations.
  3. On the Dashboard page, click Manage environments.
  4. Synchronize the inventory of the Workspace ONE Access cluster.
    1. In the globalenvironment card, click View details.
    2. On the VMware Identity Manager tab, click the horizontal ellipsis, select Trigger Inventory Sync, and click Submit.
    3. Monitor the request until all stages become Successful.
  5. Identify the secondary nodes of the Workspace ONE Access cluster.
    1. In the navigation pane, click Environments.
    2. In the globalenvironment card, click View details.
    3. On the VMware Identity Manager tab, click VMware Identity Manager secondary node
