Upgrade NSX-T Data Center in a Federated Environment

Since you deploy NSX Federation manually, VMware Cloud Foundation is not aware of the federated components and the upgrade is a manual process. To upgrade NSX-T Data Center components in an NSX Federation environment, you first upgrade the NSX Local Managers and then the functional group of appliances for each NSX-T Data Center instance. You can upgrade these components in different maintenance windows.
