Site Recovery Manager and vSphere Replication do not replicate OVF properties from the protected virtual machines to the recovery placeholder virtual machines. To ensure proper virtual machine operation after failover, you save the OVF properties of the protected virtual machines to later configure them on the corresponding placeholder virtual machines in the recovery VMware Cloud Foundation instance.

For the following procedure, use the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management domain vCenter Server at https://<protected_vcenter_server_fqdn>/ui in the protected VMware Cloud Foundation instance as [email protected].
  2. In the VMs and templates inventory, navigate to the clustered Workspace ONE Access virtual machine folder.
  3. Record the OVF properties.
    1. Select the first virtual machine of the clustered Workspace ONE Access.
    2. Click the Configure tab.
    3. In the left pane, navigate to Settings > vApp options.
    4. In the Properties section, record the following values for each property.
      • Key
      • Label
      • Value
      • Default value
      • Category
      • Type
  4. Repeat this procedure for the remaining protected virtual machines.
