You create a server pool for the clustered Workspace ONE Access instance in NSX and then add the clustered Workspace ONE Access nodes to the server pool. The server pool determines the load balancing algorithm and combines resources from the pool members.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the NSX Global Manager for the management domain at https://<active_nsx_gm_fqdn>/login.jsp?local=true as admin.
  2. From the drop-down menu at the top, select the recovery site NSX location according to your value in the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.

  3. On the main navigation bar, click Networking.
  4. In the left pane, navigate to Network services > Load balancing.
  5. Click the Server pools tab.
  6. Click Add server pool, configure the following settings, configure the remaining settings according to your VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.

  7. Add the three nodes of the clustered Workspace ONE Access to the server pool.
    1. On the Add server pool page, in the Members/Group section, click Select members.
    2. In the Configure server pool members dialog box, click Add member, configure the following settings, configure the remaining settings according to your VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook, and click Save.

    3. Repeat the previous step twice to add the remaining Workspace ONE Access nodes and click Apply.
  8. On the Load balancing page, in the Active monitor section, click Set.
  9. In the Select active monitors dialog box, select the name of the clustered Workspace ONE Access HTTPS monitor, and click Apply.
  10. On the Load balancing page, click Save.
