After you create the recovery plan, configure the startup priority and the startup and shutdown options for the virtual machines of the clustered Workspace ONE Access and VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle. You deactivate power on for the clustered Workspace ONE Access virtual machines as you use VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle to orchestrate the power on.
For the following procedure, use the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.
Procedure
- Log in to Site Recovery Manager at https://<srm_fqdn/dr> in the protected VMware Cloud Foundation instance as [email protected].
In the site pair pane, click View details.
- On the main navigation bar, click Recovery plans.
In the left pane, navigate to the recovery plan and click the Recovery steps tab.
Change the startup priority of the virtual machine of VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle.
Expand the Power on priority 3 VMs section.
Right-click the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle virtual machine and select .
In the Change priority dialog box, click Yes.
Change the startup priority of the virtual machines of the clustered Workspace ONE Access.
Expand the Power on priority 3 VMs section.
Right-click each clustered Workspace ONE Access virtual machine and select
.In the Change priority dialog box, click Yes.
Add a user prompt to verify that load balancer for the clustered Workspace ONE Access is available.
Right-click Power on priority 2 VMs and select Add step before.
In the Add step dialog box, configure the settings and click Add.
