You use the values you backed up earlier from the protected virtual machines to restore these values on the corresponding placeholder virtual machines in the recovery VMware Cloud Foundation instance.

For the following procedure, use the VMware Cloud Foundation Planning and Preparation Workbook.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management domain vCenter Server at https://<recovery_vcenter_server_fqdn>/ui in the recovery VMware Cloud Foundation instance as [email protected].
  2. In the VMs and templates inventory, navigate to the clustered Workspace ONE Access virtual machine folder.

  3. Select the first placeholder virtual machine of the clustered Workspace ONE Access.

  4. Click the Configure tab.

  5. In the left pane, navigate to Settings > vApp options and click Edit.

  6. On the Edit vApp options dialog box, click Yes and select Enable vApp options.

  7. Click the OVF details tab and, in the OVF environment transport section, select VMware Tools, and click OK.

  8. Configure the OVF properties for the placeholder virtual machine.

    1. In the Properties section, click Add.

    2. Click the General tab and configure the values you previously saved from the protected virtual machine.

  9. Repeat this procedure to set the OVF properties of the remaining placeholder virtual machines.
