Workloads deployed by VMware Aria Automation cannot be protected by this process.

Step Description
1. Prerequisites for Implementation of Site Protection and Disaster Recovery for VMware Cloud Foundation

Fulfill the prerequisites for installing vSphere Replication and Site Recovery Manager in VI workload domains.

2. Create a Virtual Machine Folder for vSphere Replication for Site Protection and Disaster Recovery for VMware Cloud Foundation Create virtual machine folders for vSphere Replication on your VI workload domain vCenter Server.
3. Deploy vSphere Replication for Site Protection and Disaster Recovery for VMware Cloud Foundation

Deploy the vSphere Replication appliance and place the vSphere Replication appliances in the VI workload domain vCenter Server where you register them.

4. Replace the Certificate of vSphere Replication for Site Protection and Disaster Recovery for VMware Cloud Foundation

Replace the certificate of vSphere Replication for your VI workload domain instance of vSphere Replication.

5. Register vSphere Replication with vCenter Single Sign-On for Site Protection and Disaster Recovery for VMware Cloud Foundation

6. Isolate Network Traffic of vSphere Replication for Site Protection and Disaster Recovery for VMware Cloud Foundation

10. Register Site Recovery Manager with vCenter Single Sign-On for Site Protection and Disaster Recovery for VMware Cloud Foundation
