You can connect vRealize Automation to your on-premises SDDC. vRealize Automation 7.6 and later versions are supported.

Known Limitations

For a seamless vRealize Automation integration, review the following limitations before deploying vRealize Automation on your on-premises SDDC.
  • Note that NSX is not exposed as an endpoint in VMware Cloud on Dell EMC. Therefore, vRealize Automation cannot interact directly with the NSX Manager in the VMware Cloud on Dell EMC environment.
  • VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager Easy Installer fails to deploy vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager Virtual Appliance on VMware Cloud on Dell EMC vCenter Server because of SSL connection error on vCenter Server from the OVF tool due to incorrect IP resolution. Perform the following workaround:
    • In the on-premises windows jump host where the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager Easy Installer is running, make the following DNS configurations:
      • Set the EPOP IP as Primary DNS
      • Set the on-premises DNS IP (where the DNS entries of vRealize products are managed) as the secondary DNS
