Filtering by various components in the H&R page gives you a way to narrow down the data to affected areas, clients, or even client attributes such as the deice type or connectivity type. You can use include and exclude options to filter in or out data.

Filtering data in H&R is critical to narrow down your investigation into what's causing problems in your environment with the selected metric. The following table describes how to include and exclude filters work.

Filter

Description

Include

Adds the selected element exclusive of the other elements in the group. For example, include a particular client to see what is most affecting them.

exclude

Excludes the selected element but keeps other elements included. For example, exclude a custom group that is known bad issues to surface other unknown issues.
