Install Horizon 7 Agent for HTML Access

To support HTML Access, you must install Horizon 7 Agent on the virtual machine-based desktop with a special parameter.

Prerequisites

• Download the Horizon Agent installer file from the VMware download page at http://www.vmware.com/go/downloadview.

  The installer filename is VMware-Horizon-Agent-x86-y.y.y-xxxxxx.exe, where y.y.y is the version number and xxxxxx is the build number.

Procedure

• ♦ Install Horizon 7 Agent from the command line and specify a parameter that tells Horizon 7 Agent not to register with Horizon 7 Connection Server.

  This example installs Horizon 7 Agent.

  VMware-Horizon-Agent-x86-y.y.y-xxxxxx.exe /v VDM_SKIP_BROKER_REGISTRATION=1
