UNC Path Redirection Limitations

The behavior of the UNC Path Redirection feature might have certain unexpected results.

• If UNC Path Redirection is configured for the client to the remote application, the remote application added in the GPO should have the ability to open the UNC path. For example, \\test.mycompany.com\temp\test.txt can be opened in a remote app such as Note or WordPad.
