Software Requirements for VMware Integrated OpenStack with Kubernetes

VMware Integrated OpenStack with Kubernetes works together with various products to provide functionality.

VMware Integrated OpenStack with Kubernetes 5.1 requires the following products:

• vSphere 6.5 or later
• (OpenStack cloud provider only) VMware Integrated OpenStack 5.0 or later
• (NSX-T Data Center deployments only) NSX-T Data Center 2.2.0 or later
• (NSX Data Center for vSphere deployments only) NSX Data Center for vSphere 6.3.6 or later

Note: If you want to deploy VMware Integrated OpenStack with Kubernetes with an SDDC cloud provider, VMware Integrated OpenStack and NSX are not required.

Important: For NSX-T Data Center deployments, ensure that your router can support the desired VMware Integrated OpenStack with Kubernetes configuration. This depends on the NSX Edge node on which the router was created.
