Corporate Network Connectivity

In some environments, you want controlled connectivity from inside your corporate network to a recovery SDDC.

Because this scenario deals with network connectivity between multiple network segments, you must configure routing between the SDDC and corporate networks.

You also must reconfigure IP addresses of all recovered VMs. Using the VMware Live Cyber Recovery UI, you can reconfigure IP addresses for recovered VMs by assigning each VM a static IP address (or in DHCP). For more information, see IP Address Mapping for Recovery Plans.

With this understanding, there are general two ways to connect your corporate network to a recovery SDDC: VPN or AWS Direct Connect.
