In a shared recovery site configuration, you connect the VMware Live Site Recovery sites in the same way as for a standard one-to-one configuration.
If you start the site connection from one of the protected sites, VMware Live Site Recovery uses the VMware Live Site Recovery ID that you set during installation to connect to the corresponding VMware Live Site Recovery Server instance on the recovery site.

- You installed one or more VMware Live Site Recovery Server instances on a shared recovery site.
- You assigned the same VMware Live Site Recovery extension ID to a VMware Live Site Recovery Server instance on a protected site and to a VMware Live Site Recovery Server instance on the shared recovery site.

- Click the New Site Pair button.
