For Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) applications, you can monitor the server's health using the RADIUS request and response. You can generate the RADIUS requests using the password, user name, and secret. The server status will be marked UP only if the RADIUS response is Access-Accept or Access-Challenge. Otherwise, the server will be marked DOWN.

A health monitor can be configured for RADIUS settings if the Type of the health monitor is selected as RADIUS.

For configuring the general health monitor settings, see Creating a New Health Monitor.

To configure the RADIUS health monitor, specify the Username, Password, and Shared Secret for the RADIUS monitor to query the server.
