Track all the details of previously made log transfer requests.

The Log Library contains the following details:

  • Date and Time: The timestamp indicating when the log was generated or updated.

  • Inventory Object(s): Information regarding the specific inventory objects or components related to the log.

  • Support Request Number: The unique identifier for the associated Support Request.

  • Entitlement Account: The account linked to the entitlement for support and services.

  • Name: The name of the individual responsible for initiating the log transfer. This may be the customer/user or a VMware Technical Support Engineer (TSE).

  • Last Update Date and Time: The timestamp indicating the most recent update made to the log.

  • Log Transfer Status: The current status of the log transfer, providing insight into its progress or resolution.

To track log requests:

  • Click View Details to view additional information about the log transfer.

You can apply Filter for a log transfer based on the Inventory object, or Log Transfer status. Additionally, you can search by associated SR, Initiated By, and Actioned By.
