During this phase (Phase 3) of the MPLS discovery process, which starts after per-device discovery completes, the MPLS Topology Server creates instances of the following classes by combining the information that is collected during the per-device MPLS discovery:

  • “LSP” on page 77

  • “LSPHop” on page 81

  • “LdpAdjacency (non-targeted)” on page 81

  • “RsvpSession” on page 82

For LSP discovery on Cisco or Juniper M/T devices, the MPLS Topology Server uses the LSP table manager to create the LSP and LSPHop instances.

For LSP discovery on Huawei or Juniper ERX devices, the MPLS Topology Server uses similar software to create the LSP and LSPHop instances. That software employs the LSP discovery method that was used in MPLS Management Suite 2.1: Create LSPInSegment and LSPOutSegment objects, and from those objects, create the LSP and LSPHop objects.
