When the MPLS-BGP cross-domain correlation feature is enabled, the MPLS Topology Servercomponent of MPLS Managerimports from IP Availability Managera BGP topology collection set named BGP-System. BGP-System contains BGP-enabled router and switch devices.
The MPLS Topology Serveruses SNMP and the BGP4-MIB to query the imported routers and switches for BGP information, and uses instances of certain VMware Smart Assuranceobject classes to create within its repository a data model representation of the discovered BGP topology. The BGP data model is shown in BGP data model.
The MPLS Topology Serveralso invokes CLI commands to query the managed network for BGP route reflector information.
