The Pending Elements list, which appears in the Discovery Progress window, shows devices for which Network Protocol Manager could not successfully complete the discovery of routing topology. Network Protocol Manager attempts to discover the routing topology that is associated with the devices on the Pending Elements list during the next scheduled pending discovery interval, or when a pending discovery is manually invoked.
Pending discovery on page 82 provides details about scheduled pending discovery, pending discovery interval, and pending discovery.
To view the Pending Elements list:
-
Attach the Domain Manager Administration Console to Network Protocol Manager.
-
Select Topology > Show Discovery Progress.
