About the VMware Smart Assurance Servlet Engine service

The Servlet Tomcat Engine is installed as a service named the VMware Smart Assurance Servlet Engine. As a service, it starts automatically with the system and runs continuously until it is manually stopped. The VMware Smart Assurance Servlet Engine serves the HTML, JAR, and map layout servlet for both Dashboard viewlets and the web console.
