Checking Manager status

If you do not know the operational status of your Manager, use the brcontrol command or the Browse button in the Attach Manager dialog box to list the Managers and their status. The status listed for your Manager should be Running. If your Manager is not running, contact your administrator, consult the VMware Smart Assurance System Administration Guide, or refer to your specific product’s Installation Guide for instructions on starting the Manager.
