VMware, Inc. provides server tools and client tools for VMware Smart Assurance software. The primary resource for information about tools is the VMware Smart Assurance Service Assurance Manager Configuration Guide. The guide describes how to use sample tool scripts and associate the tools with user profiles. This section describes information that is specific to the VoIP Management Suite.

The VoIP Management Suite provides a set of VoIP client tool scripts. You do not have to modify these scripts to use them, but you do need to perform some setup and configuration tasks. Global Console operators can access VoIP Performance Manager data through the VoIP Performance Manager’s Java-based graphical user interface. Client tools allow direct access to VoIP Performance Manager data for certain topology objects imported by the Global Manager from VoIP Availability Manager.
