The following map types are available for viewing the VoIP topology:

  • VoIP Connectivity map

A map type that shows VoIP services, sessions, and groups. VoIP session objects appear as edges (graphical representations of relationships or connections) in this map. VoIP map availability identifies the VoIP objects for which the VoIP Connectivity map is available.

  • Physical Connectivity map

A common map type that has been expanded to include VoIP session objects (VoIP map availability). VoIP session objects appear as edges in this map.

  • Redundancy Group map

A common map type that has been expanded to include VoIP Call Manager redundancy groups. This map type shows the composition (Call Managers) of these groups.

  • Business Services map

A map type that shows ServiceOfferings and ServiceSubscribers if Business Impact Manager Integration is enabled for VoIP Availability Manager. The VMware Smart Assurance Business Impact Manager User Guide provides complete information about Business Services maps.
