RSA tokens provide a means to allow users two-factor authentication access to the Network Configuration Manager application. RSA SecurID ® two-factor authentication is based on something you know (a password or PIN), and something you have (an authenticator), providing a much more reliable level of user authentication than reusable passwords.
In addition, for additional user security, a lock out feature is available. To limit the number of attempts a user can try to access Network Configuration Manager, you can use this feature. For more information, see User Lock Security.
