The subscription is broken due to one of the following:

  • AMQP service shutdown or restarts.

  • AMQP client connection closes.

  • Consumer shutdown due to any reason.

  • Connection between client and the AMQP server is broken.

The event condition is IsSubscriptionBroken.

CloudControllerAPIServiceBroken

All tenants and KVM hypervisors are not reachable via the NOVA API service for status update. The event condition is IsServiceUnreachable.

Unreachable

The host is unresponsive. The event condition is IsHostingAgentUnresponsive.

Hypervisor

HostShutdown

The host where the KVM hypervisor resides is shut down.

HostDown

The host where the KVM hypervisor resides is down.

Down

Indicates when a KVM hypervisor is down and the down hypervisor is generating locally diagnosed impact symptoms and a cluster symptom.

VirtualMachine

PoweredOff

Indicates that the virtual machine power is turned off.

Note:

The PoweredOff event is also generated when a virtual machine is suspended from a OpenStack host.

VMDeleted

Indicates that the virtual machine has been deleted from the host that it is associated within the current topology.

VMAdded

Indicates that the virtual machine has been added to its current host.

VMMigrated

Indicates when a virtual machine has been moved from one hypervisor to another hypervisor. This event is generated for both VM migration and live VM migration scenarios.

LogicalVolume

NotNormal

Indicates that the volume is not in a normal state due to the following reasons:

  • An error occurred while creating a volume.

  • An error occurred while deleting a volume.

  • An error occurred while attempting to extend a volume.

  • An error occurred while attempting to restore a backup.

VirtualInterface

AdministrativelyDown

Indicates that the virtual interface is disabled by administrator.

Down

Indicates that the virtual interface is operationally down and is impacting virtual machine.

InterfaceUnreachable

Indicates that the virtual interface is unreachable.

VNICLostConnection

Indicates that the virtual interface has lost the connection to interface.

vRouter

NotResponsive

Indicates that the vRouter is down or administratively disabled.

Down

Indicates that the vRouter is operationally down.

Disabled

Indicates that the vRouter is administratively disabled.

OpenvSwitch

VSwitchLostConnection

Indicates that the virtual switch has lost the connection to interface.

Tenant

Impacted

Indicates that one or more components of this tenant, such as VM, logical volume, and so on, have failed.

MightBeImpacted

Indicates that one or more components of this tenant, such as VM, logical volume, and so on, have failed.
