Following table lists Multicast group performance threshold parameters.

Parameter Values Description
CheckDormantSource TRUE

FALSE

Default: FALSE

  • If TRUE, the Source Dormant event is enabled. This event occurs when the multicast source is not sending any data. This event is usually enabled in a static multicast configuration.
  • If FALSE, the Source Dormant event is disabled.
CheckDR TRUE

FALSE

Default: FALSE

  • If TRUE, traffic over-utilization will be monitored only for SGs that are part of a DR. Namely, only at points where traffic enters and exits only - not in the core of the network.
  • If FALSE, all SGs will be monitored using these maximum threshold values.
Note: This parameter does not apply to the minimum threshold events. These are monitored throughout the network.
CheckTransient TRUE

FALSE

Default: FALSE

  • If TRUE, transient utilization events are enabled.
  • If FALSE, transient utilization events are disabled.
CheckZeroUtilization TRUE

FALSE

Default: FALSE

  • If TRUE, zero utilization events (both octets or packets) are enabled.
  • If FALSE, zero utilization events (both octets or packets) are disabled.
IpMRouteLWMarkThreshold Int

Default - 1

Low watermark of octets or packets per second. Low utilization alarm will be evaluated only when traffic is higher than this value.
IpMRouteOctetsMaxThreshold Int

Default - 1

The upper IP multicast threshold in terms of kilo octets per second. Exceeding this rate will cause an exception to be detected.
IpMRouteOctetsMinThreshold Int

Default - 0

The lower IP multicast threshold in terms of octets per second. Failing to exceed this rate will cause an exception to be detected.
IpMRoutePktsMaxThreshold Int

Default - 1000

The upper IP multicast threshold in terms of kilo packets per second. Exceeding this rate will cause an exception to be detected.
IpMRoutePktsMinThreshold Int

Default - 0

The lower IP multicast threshold in terms of packets per second. Failing to exceed this rate will cause an exception to be detected.
