Installing and Configuring Ops Manager on vSphere

This topic describes how to install and configure Ops Manager before deploying VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated Edition on vSphere.

Prerequisites

You use Ops Manager to install and configure Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated Edition. Before you install Ops Manager, review the following prerequisites:

• vSphere Prerequisites and Resource Requirements
• VMware Ports and Protocols on the VMware site.
• Creating Dedicated Users and Roles for vSphere (Optional)

Install and Configure Ops Manager

Each version of Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated Edition is compatible with multiple versions of Ops Manager. To determine Ops Manager compatibility, see Broadcom Support.
