Backing Up and Restoring entire Workload Cluster

You can use velero to backup the entire workload cluster and restore to a new created workload cluster if necessary. After restoration, you need to remedy the CNFs to the new workload cluster from TCA.

Note:

• Only v2 workload clusters are supported.

• Only persistent volumes created through vSphere CSI can be backed up.

• Source and target workload clusters should be under same vCenter and managed by the same management cluster

• Some Kubernetes resources in the cluster won't be backed up. If an attempt is made to backup or restore these Restricted Resources, the backup or restore will be marked as "Partially Failed".
