Run a Workflow Through a Network Function LCM Operation

Prerequisites

You must enter the inputs for parameterization of the LCM operation (instantiate, scale, heal, upgrade, and terminate).

Procedure

1. Log in to the VMware Telco Cloud Automation.
2. Click Catalog > Network Function.
3. Click the vertical ellipse of a network function for which you want to run a workflow through a network function LCM operation and click Instantiate.
4. Enter the inputs in the Inventory Detail tab and click NEXT.
5. In the Network Function Properties tab, click the horizontal ellipse of a connection point from the Connection Point Network Mappings section.
6. Select a network from the list of networks and click OK.
7. Click NEXT.
8. In the Inputs tab, enter the pre-installation properties in Pre-Installation Properties.
9. Click Post-Installation Properties, enter the post-installation properties, and click NEXT.
10. In the Review tab, review all the information entered for the network function instance and click INSTANTIATE.
