Debug Node Policy

Once a Node Policy is expanded, it reflects the following conditions:

• Validation: Indicates if the policy is valid.

• Nodepolicy Applied: Indicates if the policy is applied to management cluster.


• Nodepolicy Ready: Indicates if the nodepolicy Customer Referance (CR) in management cluster is reconciled to Normal.

• Ready: Indicates if all conditions are True.

If the Node Policy is applied to management cluster but the CR in management cluster is not Normal, follow the following steps:

1. Navigate to Node Pools to find the target nodepool.

2. Click VIEW MORE DETAILS. The popup up window will list Nodepolicy CR and NodepolicyMachineSatus CR for the specified nodepool.

   • Nodepolicy CR shows the overall configuration status of the Nodepool.

   • NodepolicyMachineSatus CR shows the configuration status of each node.
