Migrating the TCA Airgap Appliance deployed with Photon OVA and Scripts

This section describes how to migrate the TCA Airgap Appliance deployed with Photon OVA and airgap scripts for VMware Telco Cloud Automation 2.3.0 release and prior.

Procedure

1. Deploy a new Airgap Appliance OVA.

   Deploy a new Airgap Appliance with the Airgap OVA. For more information, see Deploying a VM-Based TCA Airgap Appliance.

   The FQDN and IP address must be different from the existing one.

   You can choose using auto-generated certificates for temporary use.

2. Mirror the artifacts data from the old TCA Airgap Appliance.

   Follow the steps mentioned in Mirroring Artifacts Data from another TCA Airgap Appliance.

3. Replace the old TCA Airgap Appliance.

   Follow the steps mentioned in Replacing existing Airgap Server.
