Procedure

  1. Go to http(s)://<Telcocloud operation-ui-IP>.
    A typical URL for logging in to the user interface from the same system on which VMware Telco Cloud Operations is installed is, http://10.x.x.x.
  2. Enter Username and Password.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Navigate to DATA COLLECTORS, and stop the metric collector.
  5. Go to KPI Streams and UnDeploy the threshold streamer related to the alert.
    Note: All the active alerts become inactive in SAM and stay as inactive. SAM archives and removes all the inactive alerts from the repository, and save it to the SAM archive file.
    Note: If VMware Telco Cloud Operations UI is not synced properly with SAM (for example if displays alerts are different from the SAM console), then restart smarts-event-data-smarts-sam collector from UI. And then, SAM archives all the alerts and removes the alert from the UI.
