Configuring a NIC in LLS-C1 T-GM Mode

In this configuration, the DU operates PTP in T-GM mode sourcing the time from the on-board GNSS module that functions as primary reference time clock. When PTP runs in T-GM mode, one or more ports function as server to downstream devices, providing time to them.

You can configure Single Intel and Dual Intel Wesport NICs in LLS-C1 T-GM mode by using either the VMware PTP timing pod or the Systemd service.
