Caution:

  • When upgrading Kubernetes versions on Tanzu Kubernetes clusters, do not skip minor versions. For example, you cannot upgrade a Tanzu Kubernetes cluster directly from v1.20.x to v1.23.x. You must upgrade a v1.20.x cluster to v1.21.x and then upgrade the v1.21.x cluster to v1.22.x. For information about the Kubernetes versions that are compatible with Tanzu Kubernetes clusters, see Upgrade Kubernetes Version.

  • If you are using Telco Cloud Automation 2.0.1 and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid 1.4.2 as part of Telco Cloud Platform 5G Edition 2.2 and you want to upgrade to Telco Cloud Platform 5G Edition 2.7, upgrade Telco Cloud Automation and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid in the sequence specified in the Upgrade Path table.

  • Telco Cloud Automation 2.1 components have modified resource requirements. Before upgrading to Telco Cloud Automation 2.1, ensure that your system supports these requirements. For more information, see the Telco Cloud Automation 2.1 deployment guide.
