Upgrading an Airgap Server

You can upgrade an airgap server by using the following two methods:

• Applying an incremental package to an existing airgap server

• Replacing an existing airgap server with a new airgap server

This section covers the following upgrade paths:

• Airgap server upgrade from Telco Cloud Automation 2.1 to 2.3 (Telco Cloud Platform 2.5 to 3.0)

• Airgap server from upgrade Telco Cloud Automation 2.2 to 2.3 (Telco Cloud Platform 2.7 to 3.0)

Caution:

If you are upgrading Telco Cloud Automation from 2.1 to 2.3, note that both Telco Cloud Automation and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid require a sequential upgrade. The airgap server can be upgraded directly from Telco Cloud Automation 2.1 to 2.3. However, this must be done before upgrading Telco Cloud Automation from 2.1 to 2.2.
