Upgrade Telco Cloud Automation

You can upgrade Telco Cloud Automation from version 2.3 to 3.0 using the migration method.

Prerequisites

• Ensure that Telco Cloud Automation 2.3 components are activated.

• Back up the Telco Cloud Automation Manager and Telco Cloud Automation Control Plane appliances. For instructions, see Backing Up and Restoring the System.

• Follow the prerequisites for migrating Telco Cloud Automation from 2.3 to 3.0.

Procedure

1. If you have an existing Airgap server in Telco Cloud Automation 2.3, you can migrate the Airgap server to the Telco Cloud Automation 3.0 Airgap appliance. For instructions, see Migrate Existing Airgap Server to TCA Airgap Appliance.
2. Migrate the Telco Cloud Automation Manager and Telco Cloud Automation Control Plane appliances. For instructions, see Migrating TCA 2.3.x to TCA 3.0.

What to do next

Verify that you have successfully migrated Telco Cloud Automation:

1. Open the Telco Cloud Automation web interface.

2. Verify that the dashboard displays the upgraded version number of Telco Cloud Automation.

3. Verify that all the services are up and running by logging in to one of the following URLs:

   • https://<TCA Manager_FQDN>:9443

   • https://<TCA Control Plane_FQDN>:9443
