To configure the external Trap Adapter (receiver) to listen for traps, edit the trapd.conf file. There are multiple trapd.conf files shipped with the product suites; however, the same forwarding statements appear in all of these files. “Configuration parameters in trapd.conf” on page 107 provides more information.
