Obtain network information

Gather information that indicates the size of the network and how it is utilized to accomplish an organization’s goals. A primary source for some of this information is an organization’s RFI, RFP, or RFQ for the deployment. The RFQ will normally contain details about a network’s size and structure and deployment needs. Other sources of information include network diagrams and discussions with network administrators.
