LdpProtocolEndpoint polling group

The LdpProtocolEndpoint default polling group is used by MPLS Manager to monitor the availability of Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) protocol endpoint connections. For non-targeted LDP, MPLS Manager monitors the availability by monitoring the LdpProtocolEndpoints that are discovered on PE or P devices. For targeted LDP, MPLS Manager monitors the availability by monitoring the LdpProtocolEndpoints that are discovered on PE devices.

The LdpProtocolEndpoint polling group has a default setting and an optional setting:

• LDP Session SNMP Setting (default)

• LDP Session External Setting (optional)

  The two settings are mutually exclusive, meaning that only one or the other (but not both) can be specified for an LdpProtocolEndpoint polling group at any given time.
