Here are some relationships that are computed for TE LSPs, subLSPs, and LDP LSPs:

  • LSP relationship Source

Points from an LSP to the source PE or P device for the LSP.

  • LSP relationship Destination

Points from an LSP to the destination PE or P device for the LSP.

  • LSP relationship LayeredOver

Points from an LSP to all LSPHops that belong to the LSP. Also points to the outgoing and incoming interfaces that are associated with the LSPHops that belong to the LSP.

For a TE LSP or subLSP, points from the LSP to the RsvpSession that constructs the LSP. For an LDP LSP, points from the LSP to the non-targeted LdpAdjacencies that construct the LSP.

Here are three additional relationships that are computed for TE tunnels:

  • TE tunnel relationship ProtectedBy

For a link-protected and/or node-protected tunnel, points from the TE tunnel to the primary TE LSP and the one or more backup TE tunnels that protect this tunnel.

For a path-protected tunnel, points from the TE tunnel to the primary TE LSP and the one or more secondary TE LSPs that protect this tunnel.

  • TE tunnel relationship PrimaryLSP

Points from a TE tunnel to the primary TE LSP that protects this tunnel. This relationship ensures that the primary tunnel appears as a solid line in MPLS map displays.

  • TE tunnel relationship SecondaryLSPs

Points from a TE tunnel to the one or more backup TE tunnels or secondary TE LSPs that protect this tunnel. This relationship ensures that a backup tunnel or a secondary TE LSP appears as a dashed line in MPLS map displays.

Relationships for the link/node and path-protected TE tunnel examples shows these three relationships for the link/node and path-protected TE tunnels that are presented in GUID-487FE85E-7C6D-47BD-994C-6337180B760E.html#GUID-487FE85E-7C6D-47BD-994C-6337180B760E___MPLS_DISCO_PROCESS_LSP_18026, GUID-487FE85E-7C6D-47BD-994C-6337180B760E.html#GUID-487FE85E-7C6D-47BD-994C-6337180B760E___MPLS_DISCO_PROCESS_LSP_55729, and GUID-487FE85E-7C6D-47BD-994C-6337180B760E.html#GUID-487FE85E-7C6D-47BD-994C-6337180B760E___MPLS_DISCO_PROCESS_LSP_40773.

An additional relationship for P2MP LSPs is ComposedOf, which points from a P2MP LSP to the subLSPs that are part of the P2MP LSP.
