Icon/visual indicator

Description

Icon represents an autonomous system.

Icon represents a BGP service that is running on a routing device. The routing device may be a physical router, a virtual router that is implemented within a physical router or a switch, or one of the following router cards in a switch:

  • Router switch module (RSM)

  • Router switch feature card (RSFC)

  • Multilayer switch feature card (MSFC)

Icon represents a BGP service that is running on an interface card in a switch.

Straight line represents a BGP session between neighboring BGP services (neighboring BGP devices).

Directed dotted line represents composition.

Your system administrator might replace the default map nodes with other map nodes that are preferred by your organization. In that case, use Map >Map Legend to see the definitions of your map nodes. Also, additional icons might display, depending on the underlying products and certified devices.
